Hello everyone!
It has been quite sometime since I have been able to sit and type a new letter for our website. Things have been very busy around TheraKids…praise the Lord!
I pray that all of you are doing well, and that
your life has been blessed with many wonderful things.
In addition to being busy in the office, there
has been a lot of excitement amongst our therapists and students. Beginning in
May, we welcomed two students, Jessica and Katie from the University of Florida.
They will be with us until August. Last week, we also welcomed Ashley, a student
from Florida State University,
who will be with us for six weeks. Jessica and Ashley are my students
and will be assisting me with patient evaluations and treatment sessions. Katie
is Karyn’s student, and will be assisting her in the same manner.
Kelley Jones, as many of you originally knew
her, is now Kelley Shute. She was married to John Shute on Saturday, June 7,
2008 in a beautiful, outside ceremony. She took one week off, and is now back
in the office…we are happy for her in this new life’s venture, and are glad that she is back.
Starting next Monday, June 23rd, we will
be welcoming Kara Gordin. Kara was a student here at TheraKids
last semester, and has now graduated with her Master’s degree. She will
be seeing patients for evaluations and treatments sessions. We are excited that
she will be joining us.
Wow! So
many things are happening. At times, it is difficult to keep up with all the
changes. But, we are thankful that you have given us the opportunity to service
your child in continuing to strive toward excellence.
Soon it will be July 4th, Independence
Day. We have so much to be thankful for in America,
and in our daily lives. We have been allowed a freedom that many never experience. I urge you to take time, especially in these difficult times, and remember the things
that you have been blessed to have in life. I pray that you are able to enjoy
this holiday of family and friends with fun and excitement. God Bless America!!
Sincerely-
Elon
